Veteran Benefits
If you are a veteran of the U.S. military you may be eligible for benefits for your apprenticeship training! If you have not registered for your benefits or would like to check your eligibility contact the office at (314) 647-5088.

College Credit for Apprenticeship Training
Did you know that the area community colleges and four-year institutions have an agreement with the Painters District Council #2 Apprenticeship Program to grant you up to 45 hours of college credit upon graduation from the program? If you add the general education requirements to your apprenticeship schooling, you will receive an associate degree! The four-year institutions will then recognize the associate degree to continue towards a bachelor’s degree in many construction related majors. This is a great opportunity if you want to be a superintendent, estimator, or contractor. The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades has also written an agreement with the George Meany Center for you to obtain a bachelor’s degree. Check out these great opportunities by contacting your instructor or Tim Klotz the coordinator.
